Although later, Dismissing reports about his deteriorating health as rumours, the family of superstar Rajnikanth today said he was fine and had to take some rest following his recent hospitalisation.
"I don't know where these rumours started from. These are false. He is in good health and is resting at home," his wife Latha told reporters.
Online reports suggested that the 60-year-old actor, who was hospitalised recently with allergic bronchitis and viral infection, was in critical condition.
Thanking his colleagues, fans and all well-wishers, Latha said they were right now not particular on proceeding with the filming of 'Rana', his latest venture, where the 'Enthiran' star plays three roles and romances Bollywood.

The caption was indeed interesting – but cleverly conceived. It doesn’t say that the occupants are 3 idiots, but uses the word “capacity.” Unusual enough, I guess, to catch your eye and give you that one prompt to say: I must check it out.
Aamir, I must say has been very creative in his promo ideas – I found the close-shaved look with the designer scar for Ghajini promos absolutely “out-of-the-dabba.” And I must say they did the job without a splurge on paid media promos.

London, Dec 11 (IANS) British Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has retained the top spot in an annual list of the world's 50 sexiest Asian women unveiled Friday.
The British Bollywood babe beat off tough competition from other actresses, former beauty queens, models and pop stars to hold on to the Eastern Eye crown she won last year.
Indian actresses took eight of the top 10 spots, with British television star Laila Rouass and Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat completing the list.

The police said that the videos contained graphic videos of the priest indulging in the sexual acts with at least four women while performing the rites of worship, taking short breaks to attend to his regular business with the devotees.
The women are probably among the ones who come to the temple regularly. The 19 videos of the Kanchipuram priest scandal, each running for about 90 minutes, have been released on the internet, probably by Devanathan himself, and are circulating via MMS.
The CDs were discovered by the police while they were being sold. Devanathan escaped along with his family, but surrendered four days later. He has not been granted bail.
The police is now searching for technician who has uploaded these online. Both priest and technician will be booked under the new IT act.

Featured on the publication's cover, the Top Chef presenter strikes a pose bending both of her knees to cover the front part of her body while offering sharp look to the lens through her right shoulder.
In a photo featured inside the magazine, Padma is seen impersonating Miley Cyrus' notorious pose for Vanity Fair.
Padma recently declared her love for the naked form, saying, "I like me better naked."
The pregnant host, who refuses to reveal the father, insists upon the purity of the natural form. "I don't mean that in a vain way. When you put clothes on, you immediately put a character on,” the New York Post quoted her as saying.
"Clothes are adjectives, they are indicators. When you don't have any clothes on, it's just you, raw, and you can't hide," she added.

Padma Lakshmi was married to Salman Rushdie, who is an award-winning author, from April 2004 to July 2007. In October this year, Padma had her representative publicly announcing that she is pregnant. Earlier in a meeting Tamil Film Producers Council had taken decision to release top stars movies only in festival season reflects to halt many movies. Especially most awaited movie Ilayathalapathy Vijay “Vettaikaaran” was supposed to hit theatres on Diwali but owing to the decision of the Producers Coucil the movie postponed its release. More than these only three movies are going to hit theatres on this Deepavali season. The movies are Red Giant Movies Surya’s Aadhavan,
Ayngaran International Jayam Ravi’s Peraanmai and at last Namitha’s Jaganmohini. There were plenty of movies queued for Diwali release but due to the new decision taken by Producers Council for earning more profits by releasing lesser number of movies in theatres. Only if producers produce quality movies it will earn profits these ideas look contemptible and hope soon the Tamil Film Producers Council will change its policy in releasing movies???
